Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Operates and maintains cargo pumps, pipelines, and valves on oil and chemical tankers.
2. 2Assists the Chief Officer during loading, discharging, and tank cleaning operations.
3. 3Checks cargo lines, manifolds, and pump room equipment before each operation.
4. 4Carries out pump room ventilation and gas detection routines.
5. 5Performs maintenance on cargo system valves, gaskets, and strainers.
