Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Assists the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes in the assigned section.
2. 2Prepares mise en place including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
3. 3Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work station.
4. 4Follows recipes and cooking instructions precisely.
5. 5Assists with food storage, labeling, and rotation.
6. 6Learns cooking techniques and develops culinary skills under guidance.
7. 7Participates in food preparation for buffets and special events.
8. 8Cleans and sanitizes cooking equipment and work surfaces.
