FAQWhat score do you need to pass the Marlins Test?
Marlins publishes no official pass mark. The result is a percentage and each shipping company sets its own minimum — cruise lines commonly look for around 70%, some premium brands higher, and cargo operators around 60–70%. Ask the employer you are applying to.
How many questions is the real test, and how long is it?
60 questions in about 60 minutes, the same for every edition — general seafarer, cruise staff and offshore. It has to be taken at an authorised test centre; you cannot sit it at home.
How many practice questions does 360Marlins have?
4,500+, covering all three sectors — cruise, cargo and offshore — and all five skills the test measures (listening, grammar, vocabulary, reading, time and numbers). Every question has a Thai explanation, and the mock exam draws a fresh 60-question paper every time.
What does it cost?
Two plans — the Pass at ฿999 for six months (about ฿167 a month), and Lifetime at ฿3,950 for permanent access, which also includes future questions and all four ebooks. Both are a single payment; there is no subscription.
Is there a discount?
One: pay for Lifetime within 15 minutes of creating your account and it is ฿2,950 instead of ฿3,950. The window is checked automatically against your signup time.
Do I get a certificate?
No. 360Marlins is a practice platform and issues no certificate. A result you can put on a job application has to come from an authorised Marlins test centre.
