Why We Built 360Marlins
I've worked in the maritime industry for over 10 years — 5 years as a seafarer and another 5 years in maritime recruitment.
I graduated from a merchant marine program and became the first Thai exchange student in a maritime program in Finland, at Novia University of Applied Sciences and Aboa Mare Maritime Training Centre.
After that, I entered the maritime recruitment industry and spent 10 years placing Thai seafarers on cruise ships, cargo ships, and offshore vessels — over 4,000 people across every position.
What I saw repeatedly over those 10 years was — people with talent and real determination missing opportunities because they didn't have accurate information. They didn't know what documents to prepare, didn't understand the process, and paid far more than necessary.
