Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Provides medical care to all crew members and guests onboard.
2. 2Manages the ship's medical center and supervises medical staff.
3. 3Handles medical emergencies including trauma, cardiac events, and evacuations.
4. 4Administers medications, performs minor procedures, and provides consultations.
5. 5Manages medical supplies inventory and pharmaceutical stock.
6. 6Conducts crew pre-employment medical examinations.
7. 7Coordinates medical evacuations (MEDEVAC) when required.
8. 8Maintains medical records and reports to shore-side medical team.
9. 9Implements outbreak prevention and control measures.
10. 10Ensures compliance with maritime medical regulations and ACEP guidelines.
