Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Provides emergency medical response throughout the vessel.
2. 2Assists the doctor and nurse with medical procedures and patient care.
3. 3Manages emergency medical equipment including AEDs and stretchers.
4. 4Responds to medical emergencies in all areas of the ship.
5. 5Assists with MEDEVAC preparations and patient transfers.
6. 6Maintains first aid stations throughout the vessel.
7. 7Conducts first aid training for crew members.
8. 8Assists with health screening and outbreak response.
