Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Assumes overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and technical systems onboard.
2. 2Manages and leads the entire engine department including engineers, electricians, and engine ratings.
3. 3Develops and implements planned maintenance systems (PMS) for all equipment.
4. 4Controls the engine department budget including spare parts, consumables, and fuel procurement.
5. 5Ensures compliance with MARPOL regulations, ISM Code, and classification society requirements.
6. 6Oversees fuel management, bunkering operations, and energy efficiency programs.
7. 7Coordinates dry-dock planning and major repairs with shore-side management.
8. 8Manages emergency procedures for engine room including fire, flooding, and blackout scenarios.
9. 9Reviews and approves all technical documentation, work permits, and risk assessments.
10. 10Liaises with port state control inspectors and class surveyors for machinery inspections.

• ·ภาษาอังกฤษระดับสูง สามารถสื่อสารกับผู้บริหารบริษัทและหน่วยงานภายนอก
• ·สามารถเขียนรายงานทางเทคนิค จัดทำงบประมาณ และติดต่อกับ Class Surveyor เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ
• ·เข้าใจศัพท์เทคนิคทางวิศวกรรมเรือ
