Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Controls access at the gangway and verifies identification of all persons boarding.
2. 2Screens crew, guests, and visitors using security equipment (X-ray, metal detectors).
3. 3Monitors shore-side activity near the vessel.
4. 4Manages crew and guest boarding/disembarking records.
5. 5Ensures compliance with ISPS Code requirements at the ship-shore interface.
6. 6Reports suspicious activities or unauthorized persons to the security team.
7. 7Assists with luggage screening and contraband detection.
8. 8Maintains security log and records all gangway activities.
