Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Acts as second-in-command and assumes full command of the vessel in the Captain's absence.
2. 2Oversees crew discipline, welfare, and general administration of all crew members.
3. 3Manages safety, security, and environmental operations across all departments.
4. 4Coordinates emergency response planning and conducts regular drills and exercises.
5. 5Supervises the Safety Officer, Security Officers, and Environmental Officer.
6. 6Liaises between all department heads and ensures smooth inter-departmental communication.
7. 7Investigates onboard incidents, accidents, and near-miss events.
8. 8Reviews and enforces ISM Code, ISPS Code, and company policies.
9. 9Manages crew sign-on/sign-off logistics and ensures manning compliance.
10. 10Represents the Captain in social and official functions as required.

• ·ภาษาอังกฤษระดับสูง สามารถสื่อสารกับลูกเรือทุกสัญชาติ หน่วยงานราชการ และผู้โดยสารได้
• ·สามารถเขียนรายงานและเอกสารทางการเป็นภาษาอังกฤษได้
• ·เข้าใจ Maritime English และ Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP)
