นายช่างกลอาวุโส รับผิดชอบการบำรุงรักษาเครื่องจักรหลักและการวางแผนซ่อมบำรุง เป็นตำแหน่งหลักบนเรือ Cruise ขนาดใหญ่

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1Directly supervises the main engine and propulsion system maintenance and operations.
2. 2Manages the daily work schedule for all engine room personnel.
3. 3Oversees auxiliary machinery including boilers, purifiers, and compressors.
4. 4Coordinates major repairs and overhauls during voyage and dry-dock periods.
5. 5Monitors engine performance parameters and analyzes trends for preventive maintenance.
6. 6Manages the engine department store, spare parts, and consumable inventory.
7. 7Ensures proper handover between engine watch-keeping teams.
8. 8Trains and mentors junior engineers and engine cadets.
9. 9Reviews and implements safety procedures for hot work and confined space entry.
